The problem
Approximately 55% of global GDP relies on nature's provisions. As regulatory pressures increasingly translate into financial consequences, corporations are being held accountable for their impact on nature and their dependency on nature for business continuity.
The platform addresses the key challenges companies face on this journey: fragmented, low-quality location-specific data gaps, siloed organisational data, and a shortage of in-house experts and resources, leaving organisations unable to prioritise meaningful action.
Solution
Built at the University of Oxford for academic research, the Nature Intelligence Platform integrates over 30 sources of primary and secondary nature-related data and provides nature metrics aligned with the global TNFD framework. By combining these datasets, including paid sources, academic research, and proprietary data, the platform allows companies to overcome the limitations of fragmented data and insufficient sourcing information.
Ready to use, it requires only minimal input from companies to assess their nature risk across global operations and supply chains through an automated assessment, reducing the analytical workflow from months to just days.
